See you soon..!

We are already thinking and planning and organising for September here at school and also in 2TD. And so it is with some sadness we say goodbye to one group and hello to a whole new group… The classroom is being prepared as are the staff. So to departing 2TD and arriving 2TD have a great summer and we look forward to welcoming you all back in September!

Take care…

Mr Digby

Bye for now…

First of all a great big THANK YOU for all the emails, letters, cards, pics and videos you have sent in over Lockdown and I received the most WONDERFUL video message from you all yesterday (which Amelie and others did really well to keep a secret in class) that put a HUGE smile on my face. Thank you so much it meant a lot and I can’t wait to thank you in person and see you all back in school in September. I will be up to visit in Key Stage Two and you are always welcome to pop back down to see me as well… Anyway here is my final video for you and the other usual Thursday things…

This is a really lovely video from Claire that might encourage your creative side at home!

Community Challenge and Assembly

Windchimes Hanging In Tree High Resolution Stock Photography and ...

So how did you get on identifying all the different tress around the park?

This week Miss Frobisher has designed the Community Challenge! Linked to our Carnival Week, and to celebrate ‘Cragside: Together and Apart’, we are going to revive The Chiming Tree in Paddy Freeman’s by the pond. The Friends of Paddy Freeman’s has agreed that we can decorate the tree.

Check out the document below as to how you get involved. If we work together, the tree can become magical again.

Also here is the assembly for this week.

Year 2: Fiesta!!!

Hi boys and girls! Thanks for all the work you have been sending in! We have been creating lots of similar things in school.

How have you been getting on with telling the time?? I hope you are getting your head around it and practising at home…
